McAllen ISD's Instruction & Guidance Center has taken learning outside the classroom. The students have built an outdoor classroom complete a chicken coop, a gazebo, chickens, turtles and other animals. They built everything and now maintain it. It helps teach valuable life lessons like learning to collaborate with others, teamwork and problem solving. In McAllen ISD, educators will go the extra mile for student success.
