Students at McAllen ISD's Milam Elementary have adopted a new campaign aimed at cleanliness. The McAllen Shines campaign brings McAllen ISD and the City of McAllen together for this joint endeavor. To cap off the day, more than 700 Milam students lined up on the playground to spell out the word "Earth."
McAllen Shines is a new campaign designed to produce a cleaner McAllen! Through a partnership between the City of McAllen and McAllen ISD, students are helping spread the word to help pick up at school, home and everywhere in between.
