- Submit a transfer request if you are requesting a school outside of your zone (in/out district).
- Submit a request if you are currently on a transfer and are moving to 6th or 9th grade.

Proclamation Regarding McAllen ISD Eduardo Reyna Day. Mr. Eduardo Reyna has tirelessly taught students in McAllen ISD for 50 years. Mr. Eduardo Reyna has tirelessly taught students in McAllen ISD for 50 years. On Dec. 20, 2022, Brown Middle School honored him with a special assembly. Since 1973, Mr. Reyna has taught Gifted and Talented or Math students. He has taught at the old Zavala Elementary and Escandon Elementary but most of his career has been at Brown Middle School. He says he learns from the students as much as they learn from him. A proclamation was also signed proclaiming December 20, 2022 as Eduardo Reyna Day in McAllen.

The Boys and Girls Club is recognizing McAllen ISD for its strength and commitment to the children of this community. Through use of shared resources, the Elevate Athletic Program and after-school programs, the McAllen Boys and Girls club and McAllen ISD have forged a strong bond. Partnerships such as this
are not automatic and do not always blossom in other communities. In fact, officials from McAllen ISD and McAllen Boys and Girls Club have co-presented to other school districts at state wide conferences such as Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). McAllen's children and their families have benefited through the common vision of McAllen Boys & Girls Club and McAllen ISD.
