Message from our PTO:
We are so sad to share that the PACHANGA ON THE PLAYGROUND scheduled for this Friday has been CANCELLED. Between damage on the playground, at many of our homes, and the threat of rain the remainder of the week, we felt it best to give everyone Friday night off.
A special THANK YOU to Bodega Tavern & Kitchen for always stepping up and offering the love at our events! We will miss your tacos on the playground this week.
We are ESPECIALLY and INCREDIBLY thankful to the McAllen ISD Facilities Maintenance and Operations crew for all of their hard work in cleaning up our school and all of the McAllen ISD facilities. While Ben Milam Elementary definitely took a hit, there are other schools that are so much worse off than ours. We are so grateful for the time, effort, and love that the FMO staff puts into taking care of our schools.
For our K-4th grade families--we look forward to a fun pachanga at some point during the 2023-2024 school year. STAY TUNED!!!

We have STAAR RLA Testing this week! Tomorrow, April 19th, 5th grade will be testing and Thursday, April 20th, 3rd & 4th grades will be testing. Be sure to look over some ways to prepare for the test.
April is designated as the Month of the Military Child; a time to honor the sacrifices made by military families worldwide, with an emphasis on the experience of the dependent children of military members serving at home and overseas. Please join us in honoring our military families by participating in the following spirit day activities!

Friendly reminder: Open House is today February 28th, 5:00-6:30 pm. Please enter through the cafeteria gates, go to the pavilion, and use the second cross-hall doors to enter the building. Parents will exit on the west side of the campus through the front doors.
