Join us in honoring our school counselors this week, National School Counseling Week. Our school counselors, Dr. Pat G. Ávila and Mrs. Karla Chamberlain implement a comprehensive school counseling program. A vital part of the educational process for all students as they meet the challenges of the 21st century. Together with our teachers, staff and administration they serve an important role in college and career readiness and in helping students examine their talents, strengths, abilities, and interests. Join us in celebrating 100 Days of School this Thursday, February 2nd! We invite our students and staff to wear 100-day/item shirts or dress up as a 100-year old! Let's have fun celebrating 100 amazing days of learning! We can’t wait to see how creative all will be!

Congrats to these chess players who scored really well and brought some trophies! Woo hoo! Way to go, Jasen who placed 4th in the elementary division and David Vasquez, who placed 9th in the primary JV division. Incredibly proud of our unicorn chess teams!

R. Garza Elementary "Magical Unicorn Cafe" Accelerated Reader Celebration Congratulations to our Garza unicorn students who met their 1st Semester Accelerated Reader Goal! Students spent a "magical time" in the library as they enjoyed a book talk of "Thelma the Unicorn", decorated their very own "editable unicorn horn" and took a gallery walk to view each one's master piece.

Our unicorns had a great time at Saturday Camp! We can’t wait to have them join us again at our next one! 💜🦄
