Business Services is responsible for providing information regarding the budgeting functions of the McAllen Independent School District. Business Services assists in fulfilling the financial needs of the District and has a stewardship role in the District’s financial resources.  Primary duties/responsibilities of Business Services include:

• Budgetary Support for all Campuses

• Budgetary Support for all Special Revenues Funds/Grants

• Budgetary Support for all Central Office Departments

• Preparation and Balancing of the District’s annual budget

• Reporting of the District’s Annual Budgeted Financial Data to TEA through PEIMS

• Monitoring of correct coding, balances, and uses of the District’s revenues &

  expenses 

• Reports to the Board of Trustees throughout the year on budget matters

• Budget Preparation Manual

• Budget Procedures
